All nets feature 100% knotless mesh netting – eliminating injuries commonly caused by sharp knots. Flat, linear bottoms reduce fish rolling and support the weight of the entire fish; tangle-free coating prevents hooks from entangling in the net; and MeshGuard™ hoops greatly extend the life of the net. The lack of quality control on this is absolutely unacceptable. The handle came apart after literally using it a couple of times on our first day out. What the heck you guys, how can you release something like this to your customers??
Looking at the other reviews it appears I'm NOT alone and this is a systemic issue.

Trying to land a big pike and when I extended the handle--it came apart! I am a charter captain and supposed to have good equipment so this does not make the grade.

Not exactly sure what broke but the telescoping mechanism came apart on the first fish. Going to tru to return it!

You sent the wrong product, made me jump through hopes to get it corrected, sent me a stupid form instead of calling to better understand the problem,,,, and I'm still awaiting the credit for the wrong fishing net sent.
Maybe 2 stars is too generous.

Recently, I received a defective Conservation Telescoping Net. I was fishing the 1000 Islands & St. Lawerence River when that first bite occurred with my new net. My buddy went to extend the pole as to NOT lose this “Jurassic Park” freak of a smallmouth that was 5 lbs. 15 oz. , but the extending piece fell to the floor of the boat. Thankfully, I had a second net aboard for the duration of this week-long trip. Once home, I contacted Frabill. Their customer service rep returned my call immediately, walked me through the warranty process, and a new net arrived just a few days later. This kind of customer service has become a thing of the past, but not with Frabill. I will stick with a company that truly values their customers. Thank you, Frabill!
