Recently, I received a defective Conservation Telescoping Net. I was fishing the 1000 Islands & St. Lawerence River when that first bite occurred with my new net. My buddy went to extend the pole as to NOT lose this “Jurassic Park” freak of a smallmouth that was 5 lbs. 15 oz. , but the extending piece fell to the floor of the boat. Thankfully, I had a second net aboard for the duration of this week-long trip. Once home, I contacted Frabill. Their customer service rep returned my call immediately, walked me through the warranty process, and a new net arrived just a few days later. This kind of customer service has become a thing of the past, but not with Frabill. I will stick with a company that truly values their customers. Thank you, Frabill!

Stay away from this telescoping net!! Poor Quality!! I've had this previous model of net for almost 10 years. The net went bad and Plano no longer has the replacement net. (funny because the new style of net is the exact same as the new model). I ordered a new net through Plano. It lasted one fishing afternoon until the telescoping rod just pulled all the way out. Called and left Plano a message about filing a warranty claim. Waited over a week still no returned call back. I had to purchase a new Frabill net the exact same model because I had a youth fishing tournament for my son to attend. The customer service finally called me back 3 1/2 weeks later. I explained to the lady the situation on how the net broke and what happened when it broke( It as a total product failure). I told her I had already purchased a new net (the now second net in 2 months) Her remarks was so" What do you want me to do". Frabill and Plano did nothing to replace the 1 month old net. This past week end 1 month and two fishing trips with the new net, it broke the exact same way as the 1st net. This will be the last Plano owned product I will ever purchase.
