The sliding handle makes stowing for several convenient stowing options. For example , when the handle isn’t extended, the end of the handle that’s in the hoop slides over my wading belt and balance nicely on my hip. Using just one hand , it’s simple and quick to remove it from my belt. to extend the handle I place the net vertically with the hoop on the river bottom and step onto the hoop lightly with one foot. From there you just pull up on the handle until the spring/ball pops into place. Now you’re ready to net your fish.
